Château de Thésée's accommodations
Fall under the spell of these character houses, which can accommodate 6 and 13 guests, and are the ideal base for exploring the region, the Beauval ZooParc (15 minutes away) and the Châteaux of Chenonceau, Cheverny and Chaumont (25 min), Chambord, Blois and Villandry (45 min).
Nestling in a 16-hectare estate, between vineyards and forests, our character gites offer an idyllic setting for a getaway with family or friends. You’ll love the peaceful, unoverlooked setting, private garden and flower beds. Nature lovers can enjoy a variety of walks, cycle rides or horse rides through the vineyards and forest (equestrian centre 5 minutes away).
La Closerie – Château de Thésée
In the Middle Ages, a “Closerie” was a house located in a locality enclosed by walls or hedges. A direct witness to our estate’s agricultural and wine-growing past : fall under the spell of this charming Touraine house.
Formerly part of the Château’s farm, La Closerie has now been converted into a comfortable Gîte, where you can enjoy a peaceful Loire escapade for up to 13 guests…
During your stay, immerse yourself in an enchanting setting, where the tranquillity and beauty of nature invite you to relax and discover. Make the most of its grounds and the hammocks at your disposal, while being just a stone’s throw from the most beautiful châteaux in the Loire Valley and Beauval Zoo.

Chez Riton - Château de Thésée
Riton is the French nickname for Henri. Henri, was the Château’s caretaker for many years… Now converted into a comfortable Gîte, his house can accommodate up to 6 guests for a peaceful Loire getaway… Known to everyone in the village, Riton loved to ride his moped or walk in the nearby woods.
Whether you’re planning a getaway with family or friends, our character house offers all the comforts you need to make your stay unforgettable.
You’ll find a master bedroom with a queen-size bed, a bedroom with two single beds and a comfortable sofa bed in the living room.
